BACKGROUND:
Joseph
P. Green
graduated from law school in 1974 from The Dickinson School
of Law and joined the firm at that time. He is a member of
the Centre County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the Association
of Trial Lawyers of America, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association
and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. Mr. Green has practiced
all aspects of civil litigation and has tried numerous cases
in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania. He specializes
in the areas of insurance defense litigation, commercial/construction
litigation, workers compensation, and casualty insurance subrogation.
Mr. Green has lectured on numerous occasions at professional
continuing legal education seminars given by the Pennsylvania
Bar Institute and in other forums such as insurance symposiums.
He has a particular interest in motor vehicle litigation,
uninsured/underinsured motorist arbitrations, and all aspects
of products liability law. In addition, his commercial and
municipal litigation experience is extensive and includes
such matters as construction disputes, municipal procurement,
zoning and regulatory issues.
